Primitiv’s Competing in the 2026 Michigan Zalympix

Our First Year in the Competition

We’re excited to announce that Primitiv has officially been selected to compete in this year’s Michigan Zalympix!

This marks our first appearance in the competition and gives us the opportunity to put our flower and rosin alongside some of Michigan’s most respected cultivators and extractors.

Great Cannabis – Without the Bias

Michigan Zalympix is built around blind judging. Every entry is packaged anonymously, allowing consumers to judge each sample based solely on the experience. No logos, no brand recognition—just the flower and rosin inside.

Beginning August 8, official judging boxes will be available at participating retailers while supplies last. Each box includes entries from brands across the state, including Primitiv. Judges will have until September 17 to sample each entry and cast their votes.

A Chance to See Where We Stand

We’ve always focused on producing cannabis we’d be proud to smoke ourselves. Entering Zalympix is an opportunity to see how our work compares when every brand is on the same playing field.

Every harvest, every phenotype, and every batch reflects the work our cultivation team puts in behind the scenes. Being included in this year’s competition is something we’re proud of, and we’re looking forward to seeing how our entries perform.

Voting closes on September 17, with the winners announced during the Michigan Zalympix awards celebration at The Crofoot on September 19.
