Primitiv Performance is a collaboration between Primitiv, a Michigan-based cannabis company co-founded by former Detroit Lions teammates, Rob Sims and 2021 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, Calvin Johnson Jr., and CYP, a company focused on innovating higher standards of cannabis consumption by developing the fastest acting, most bioavailable, and predictable products to the cannabis and healthcare markets.

Primitiv Performance is a product line developed by former professional athletes that utilizes a proprietary blend of electrolytes, vitamins, and multiple phytocannabinoids (CBD, CBG, CBC, CBN) to help people living an athletic lifestyle rehydrate, recover, and boost their immune system before, during or after a workout.  Primitiv Performance’s initial product line will include four flavors of a fast-acting phytocannabinoid infused electrolyte solution (cherry lemonade, tropical punch, lemon lime, peach tea) available in 25mg fast-acting water-soluble stick packs, and a broad-spectrum topical pain-relief cream that will be sold in 1oz and 4oz jars.

Infused with CYP’s signature High Performance Nano Emulsion (HPNE) ™ technology, Primitiv Performance will offer both CBD and THC infused versions for consumers looking to elevate their body’s wellness and overall quality of life.  Primitiv Performance’s HPNE provides consumers a greater bioavailability of its product by largely bypassing the intestinal process so it’s delivered directly into the bloodstream for a result that is faster, more predictable, and more effective.  Primitiv Performance will be launched in Michigan this fall, with a goal of national and international availability in 2023 and beyond.
