A Football-Fueled Weekend Making a Difference in Greater Boston

Boston, MA — July 2, 2025 — The Gosder Cherilus Foundation invites Greater Boston to a weekend packed with football, fundraising, and community impact. On July 18, the action kicks off with a Fairway Fundraiser at Topgolf Boston, followed on July 19 by a free football camp for kids at Archbishop Williams High School. Together, these events combine athleticism, philanthropy, and a powerful sense of community—hallmarks of the Foundation’s ongoing mission (einpresswire.com).

Why It Matters

Founded by Haitian-born NFL veteran Gosder Cherilus in 2009, the Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) dedicated to uplifting underserved communities in both the U.S. and Haiti.  Sommerville, MA native, NFL first-round draft pick and member of the Boston College Sports Hall of Fame, Cherilus has long leveraged his platform to drive positive change. The Foundation has previously organized youth football camps and disaster relief efforts, notably after the 2010 Haiti earthquake.
